Our first stop is the small, but quaint town of Samobor, where history whispers from every corner: cobbled streets lined with colorful houses and a unique atmosphere.
Morning time is time for coffee and the famous “kremšnita” cake in the enchanting Stari Grad (Old Town), a treasure trove of historical landmarks, that we will continue onto exploring for another few hours.
We’ll also venture beyond the town center for a special visit to some of our local partners and producers. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with the heart of Samobor’s culinary scene: “bermet” liquor, “muštarda”, local wines (Graševina, Rose Tia), and local cheese.
Refreshed (for now!), we’re continuing onto exploring rolling hills of Plešivica towards the town of Jastrebarsko. During this scenic drive through the picturesque hills, you’ll learn more about local producers.
Almost on top of Plešivica Hills, hides our next stop: traditional restaurant with the most amazing view, and that means it’s time for your first try of delicious “štrukli”. Savor the taste of local ingredients expertly prepared according to time-tested recipes.
Finally, we’ll come to our favorite family-run winery, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by the owners and introduced to the secrets of Croatian winemaking, grape varietals and aromas. Few more sorts await for you to taste here (Cuvée, Sauvignon blanc, Rajnski rizling, Blanc de blancs – extra brut), alongside local platter with cheese, veggies and meat slices.
Throughout your day, your guide will capture photos and videos, creating a professionally edited video for you to share your Croatian experience.
